Food is well prepared and flavorful. It's tiny and dingy inside but the food is good.

As other reviewers have stated, it's kind of ridiculous that they nickel and dime you on rice and naan. One of those usually comes with an Indian dinner. The place was empty and depressing when I got there, it was just me until the end of my meal. A few people walked in at that point and it suddenly didn't feel like a ghost town. The food was good, a potato and pea dish in a rich red sauce. I think they need to reconsider the nickel and diming as the food was good but not good enough to come back and order all separate.

This place is awful.. Deserves No stars!
Food is the worst.. We ordered chicken Biryani's and Peas Pulao.. This is the only place that comes with out any sides (Raita & Salan) for a Biryani & Pulao. Visited many Indian restaurants in US so far, but this place is the worst for sure.
Rice in both the dishes is uncooked. Meat smells yak. we could hardly eat anything..
Ordered masala chai, it's just hot water with a tea bag dipped in it for 10 secs.. -

Wow, what a tourist trap! If you want to sell your dishes piece by piece then let people know up front, when they order. I have never been to an Indian restaurant where curries did NOT come with rice and roti did NOT come with anything. I also don't remember roti ever being that doughy. It was odd. But not as odd as the Kashmiri naan that had glazed (candied) cherries instead of golden raisins. It was like fruitcake naan. Unpleasant.
It's just a shame that this is the Indian food people visiting Santa Fe will most likely encounter. -

Don't go here. If you read this in time, just WALK AWAY now. Before it's too late and you're hurting to go to the bathroom and there isn't one. (Is that even legal?!)
The menu starts with 'By ordering, you agree to pay.' Whoaaa!! That's not a good start - does that mean previous customers were so disgusted with the service and food that they kept walking out?!
I can see that happening. The food isn't terrible - it's just heavily overpriced and there are better Indian places in town. I ordered a veggie dish that traditionally comes with rice (duh, you gotta put the sauce on SOMETHING) and they sold rice SEPARATELY!!! Are you kidding me?! I've never seen a place so cheap! I asked and NONE of the dishes on the menu came with rice. You have to pay $3+ separately for that. Pretty outrageous.
My friend ordered the lamb skewers and they were super dry without any sauce. Being the polite gentleman he is, he didn't complain much but said he'd never return here.
Oh, and the front page of the menu DEMANDS 30-40% tip on holidays. Whoa! Can't demand a certain tip amount - esp since the service here is poor at best. We got a few water refills and then they forgot about us completely. We had a 3rd friend come meet us and he was ignored until he waved both his arms and almost yelled.
How does this place stay in business...
I'll never forget our memories and I'll shudder every time I'll walk by this secluded weird place in a parking lot. Never again.
On way out, we peeked into the kitchen and there's no way it's up to code. Maybe we'll all get lucky and it'll get shut down soon?
